Pooler’s Tanger Outlets to add 3 restaurants, car dealership
Development in Pooler continues to grow with the addition of three new restaurants and a car dealership near the Tanger Outlets Savannah.
Ben Carter Enterprises announced Tuesday, that Rise Pies, a pizza chain that uses locally sourced ingredients will be opening as part of the Tanger Outlets Savannah Phase II in August. The casual pizza joint will join recently opened clothing retailers Forever 21 and H&M, both of which opened in May as part of Phase II.
Metro Diner will open their doors in early 2017 as part of the outlets third phase. The Florida-based diner’s menu includes such favorites as shrimp and grits, chicken pot pie and meatloaf along with soups, salads and breakfast. Texas Roadhouse, which already has one location at the Savannah Mall, will break ground on its second location this summer near the outlet center. The Pooler location is also slated to open in early 2017.
“Tanger Outlets Savannah continues to be a popular shopping and dining destination for residents in the greater Savannah area and its many visitors,” said Quito Anderson, CEO of Ben Carter Enterprises. “The addition of these tenants will create an even better experience for our guests.”
Vaden Chevrolet will also be opening a new Pooler dealership in early 2017. The plan for Vaden Chevrolet Pooler includes the dealership, maintenance shop, car wash and a seven-acre display lot on the southeast corner of the Tanger property, adjacent to Interstate 95.
Pooler City Council approved the site plan for the 45,000-square-foot dealership in February.
